Stages of Frozen Shoulder
01

Frozen shoulder, also known as adhesive capsulitis, progresses through three stages:
1. Freezing Stage
In this stage, shoulder pain gradually increases, and the range of motion begins to diminish. It may be accompanied by inflammation and stiffness.
2. Frozen Stage
During this stage, shoulder pain may stabilize or decrease, but stiffness and restricted mobility become more pronounced. Simple movements, such as lifting the arm or reaching behind the back, become challenging.
3. Thawing Stage
In the final stage, the shoulder gradually regains mobility and function. Pain subsides, and the range of motion improves, allowing for a return to normal activities.
